gazdiné z kopaníc

community, for me, starts at the table — growing food, preserving it, and passing on the skills that used to be common knowledge. I live and garden pod oskorušou, on a smallholding in the White Carpathians, where putting up the harvest isn't a trend, it's how the year works. out of that grew gazdiné z kopaníc — bringing people together to share food self-sufficiency practices, from garden to jar, that might otherwise be lost.

I run workshops on canning, fermenting and preserving, and help communities and organisations build their own food self-sufficiency projects — from a single workshop to a full programme.

for the day-to-day of the garden and kitchen, I write at podoskorušou.sk — kimchi, sun-dried tomatoes, buckthorn juice, whatever the season hands us.

want a workshop for your group, a hand setting up a community garden or preserving programme, or a consultation on food self-sufficiency? get in touch — let's talk about what your community needs.
