everything i make starts with my hands - a dress, a meal, a garden, a plan. over the years that's turned into a full practice: my creativity has outlet in fashion and interior design, my survival instinct led me to food self-sufficiency and community building, and my curiosity and need for structure led me to education and running projects from idea to evaluation.

for almost 15 years, bartinki has been my slow fashion label. it started as a hobby and developed into a bigger outlet for my creativity. combining my love of design and anything vintage with my hoarder nature, it let me express my inner side to the world without using words. and working with fashion allowed me to explore the dark side of the fashion industry - hence my human rights and environmental activism.
while on my travels, i discovered a world of different levels of wealth and poverty. i realised the treasures we have in slovakia - water, soil, skills, handed-down knowledge. building community and its self-sufficiency became for me a priority. project gazdiné z kopaníc grew out of that: bringing people together to bring their own food to the table - from seed exchange to planting, growing, cooking, and preserving the harvest for out-of-season times.

as an activist, i realised the enormous power of education. my workshops, summer camps, and teaching experiences led me to methodology work. over the years, i learned that making non-formal education work also means leading and managing projects. nitka, our non-profit organisation, can now provide full project management and evaluation - not just for us, but for other organisations as well.
